On their latest EP 'One Can Not See', Traces move seamlessly through ambient solitude and post-rave euphoria.

The two weightless tracks, 'Null' and 'New Homes' kick off and end the EP. They serve as a pertinent question and a hesitant answer that remains solely on the tip of the tongue, lost in the murky depths of the dancefloor haze.

When both 'Auburn' and 'One Can Not See' kick in, they feature prominent vocal samples that change their meaning through adamant repetition. Garage-infused rhythms and chopped breakbeats are mainstays to both of these tracks, fused with a trademark rolling low-end that exemplifies Traces' approach to the anti-banger.

'One Can Not See' ultimately creates unity between four of Traces' older cuts and freshly exported tracks. Much like the busy club nights that it portrays, the EP presents a clarity that can only be found amongst chaos.
